Cetaphil Suntivity Repair Liposomal Lotion Body & Face Review
Summer in Sydney can be the best in the world with great weather and lovely sunshine. Even in winter, the sun shines nice and bright! Unfortunately, there is a down-side. The sun shines so brightly, it stings the skin when out too long! Australia is the only country I’ve been where the sun shines so harshly. That’s why sun protection is important. But.. what about your skin after sun exposure? It needs just as much loving after sun exposure! Today I’ll be reviewing a product specifically for car after sun exposure – Cetaphil Suntivity Repair Liposomal Lotion.
Cetaphil Suntivity Repair Liposomal Lotion is from Cetaphil’s new Suntivity range. I personally wasn’t too impressed with their sun protection range. This product, however, did feel good on the skin. When first applied on the skin, it is very cooling and refreshing. It also absorbs very quickly but is not very moisturizing. You will have to put a moisturizer to replace the much needed moisture. This product has a distinct fragrance which is a little floral but the smell does go away after about 15 minutes or so.
The packaging states that this product 18% lipid content. Lipid content helps trap further moisturizer from escaping from the skin. That’s a good thing since we lose moisture when out in the sun. The ingredients do not irritate my sensitive skin or break me out. Here’s a list of ingredients:
Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Pentylene Glycol, Squalene, Behenyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Glycerin, Panthenol, Tocopherol, Polyglyceryl-10 Pentastearate, Parfum, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hydroxide, Disodium EDTA, Lecithin, Micrococcus Lysate, Phenoxyethanol.
It’s a great product if you are after a product that cools the skin. It doesn’t replace the lost moisture, so you will need a proper moisturizer after.
